New Fiber Cleaver Models for In-Line Optical Fiber Lens Systems and Thin-Fiber Manufacturing
NorthLab Photonics participated at SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco together with our North American distributor and partner 3SAE Technologies, Inc. as well as FITEL – A Furukawa Brand, together with whom we presented new products during the event
During the event, we launched two new products in the ProCleave™ family: NorthLab ProCleave™ HS-MP and NorthLab ProCleave™ TF.
ProCleave HS-MP is an electronic fiber cleaver with an integrated micro positioner, designed for the fabrication of in-line optical fiber lens systems where precise control of individual fiber segment length is required. It handles fiber diameters from 80 to 250 µm and is specifically designed for both R&D environments and automated production. By combining ProCleave HS-MP with FITEL’s S185 fusion splicer, manufacturers can significantly save time and increase yield in end-cap production.
The ProCleave TF is an advanced electronic fiber cleaver developed for thin and reduced-cladding optical fibers with cladding diameters < 80 μm.
LFS II (Lens Forming Station) from 3SAE Technologies, Inc was also launched, presented by NorthLab, 3SAE and FITEL.
